Large artworks

I love the idea of artwork holding space in a room;

a hook reserved for an emotion or memory,

a spot for eyes to go as thoughts prepare to land.

Or perhaps that vacancy on the wall,

once filled,

will offer the unintrusive company you’ve been craving

or the friend you never knew was missing.

It is a pleasure to get to live with the art before they head home.

What I see and recognise in them will be different to what they eventually will mean in the lives of others.

That is a beautiful thing.

These darlings are delightful to be around.
